Belchertown Fair is privileged to have one of the best exhibit halls in the state. With a wide variety of categories for both youth and adults, there are plenty of opportunities for local farmers and crafters, photographers and special interest groups to enter unique displays. The 2026 theme is “Stars ,Stripes and Fair Nights”. There are categories and special awards for everyone. Plan your entries now in your favorite category and be sure to look through the booklet for new categories as well. Without question, you want to be included in the fun at the Exhibit Hall fair weekend. Free demonstrations will be taking place throughout the weekend. The schedule will be posted as it is finalized. Please make time during fair weekend to visit the Exhibit hall and see the 1000 + entries. You will be amazed at what people make.

Volunteers

We need volunteers of ALL ages! There is something to do every day during fair week. No special skill required. Essential ingredient is enthusiasm, willingness to make new friends and have a great time. Tasks include:

  • Hall set up-Sunday 9/20-10 AM until done
  • Exhibit check in- Mon.9/21- 6-8 pm
  • Tues 9/22- 4:30-8:30 pm
  • Wed. 9/23- 2:30-6:30 pm
  • Hall decorating Thurs 9/24- 11:00 AM until done
  • Hall sitters Friday 9/25-Saturday 9/26
  • & Sunday 9/27
  • Hall breakdown Sunday 9/27 4:00-5:00 pm Assist with getting ready for check out
  • 6:00 pm until done

It takes many dedicated people to bring the Hall to life each year. There is something for everyone to do. Rumor has it the volunteers are fueled by chocolate snacks. For more details, please call Wendy Chevalier @413-813-8629.

To become an Exhibitor

  1. Review 2026 Exhibit Hall Booklet
  2. Pick your Department and Lot; complete your projects. Use Dept 120 for Adult Photography.
  3. There are 3 ways you may enter

    There is a new program this year for Exhibit Hall entries. We

    encourage you to use the online entry option. Paper entry forms

    will be accepted this year. If you need assistance please contact:

    Creating On-line Entries

    1. Exhibitors submit entries at fairentry.com. Follow the

    prompts to find the Belchertown Fair.

    2. Since this is your first time using the online entry, you will

    need to create an account.

    3. Click “Begin Registration” and enter the exhibitor information

    into the required fields.

    4. If any information is incorrect, click the green edit button in

    the appropriate box to make changes. When all the information

    is correct, select “Continue to Entries”.

    5. Creating Entries – Select “Add an Entry”. Click the green

    “Select” beside the department you wish to enter. Click on the

    lot you wish to enter. Also notice that there are blue

    “Change” links in case you mistakenly select an incorrect

    department or lot. Click “Choose” when you have chosen

    the desired department and lot. Review the entry. If

    everything is correct, click “Continue”. Click on the green “Add

    an Entry” to continue with additional entries.

    6. Although there is no fee to enter, the checkout must still

    be completed to submit your entry.

    7. All submitted entries must be “Approved”. Once you have

    submitted your entries they are in “holding status” until they

    are able to be reviewed and approved. If you want to add any

    additional entries you must wait until your first submission of

    entries have been through the approval process. Once

    approved you can log back into fairentry.com and follow the

    prompts to create new entries.

    8. You will receive an email confirmation listing your entries and

    a second email when your entries have been approved by the

    fair.
