Oh, my goodness. There was a whole lot of "Shake, Cattle and Rolling "going on this weekend. You all came to play and that was clear from the floats to the booths and the decorated animals. The weather could not have been any better from tents up to tents down. Smiles were everywhere. We are so lucky to live in a community that can put differences aside for a short time and come together to enjoy and support each other. It truly is what sets us apart from many other communities. None of this is possible without so many dedicated volunteers and sponsors. The DPW crew is nothing short of amazing and the UMASS baseball team has done all the heavy lifting 2 years in a row. The Sponsors make so many events possible in various ways: financial support for events, equipment like Quality Fleet Service in the pulling area and Industrial Technical Services, Inc with equipment and assisting with getting Shriners back to the Parade. Every bit of support no matter how small or large creates a spectacular event.
Please take the time to say Thank you to the people listed in volunteers and sponsors. We are 51 weeks away from the 167th Belchertown Fair and Parade. Put your thinking caps on for theme ideas. Until then………

The Belchertown Fair has strong agricultural roots and has been at the center of its social and geographic history.
There are special theme awards in the Parade, vendor booths and Exhibit Hall. It is fun to see how people interpret the theme every year. What does it mean to you? Put your thinking cap on if you are a participant. If you are a visitor, we look forward to showing off the Belchertown Farming Community.
