Welcome ! If you are reading this, you must be in attendance or planning to enjoy the many free events that have likely become part of your family’s history. If this is your first time attending the Fair and Parade, than you should know that the Friends of the Belchertown Fair is a non-profit 501C3 organization designed to raise money in 2 ways ,the Sponsorship program and the sale of Fair Memorabilia to support the Fair and Parade. Whether it is for capital projects needed to enhance the fair or to support the events that you are enjoying this weekend, the F.O.F. and all the valuable volunteers want to make sure that it is a memorable event. Unlike many of the other local fairs, there is no cost to attend the “Big B” … YOU and your family get to plan your day and pick your events with essentially no cost to you. A weekend where you can test your trivia skills, partake in a photo booth with crazy costumes, be part of a hypnotic show, visit great exhibits and enjoy wonderful music … for FREE! But you will also eat great food provided by wonderful local vendors such as: amazing taco salad, great homemade pies, brownie sundaes and so much more. Plus you get to support our non-profit groups by getting to put your favorite ex/current teacher in a dunk tank or testing your speed with the hockey or speedball challenge. Whatever your reason for attending the Fair and Parade, we hope that you remember to support it now and in future. Sponsorships ,Fair related items and t-shirt sales are part of helping to ensure the Fair continues as a family tradition.
